The Saramonic UwMic9 RX9+TX9 is a portable, camera-mountable UHF lavalier wireless system that provides stellar, broadcast-quality sound and offers powerful features that greatly exceed the capabilities of wireless systems that cost over twice as much. The included dual-channel RX9 receiver gives you the ability to run two separate wireless microphones by adding an additional transmitter (sold separately). This system is perfect for DSLRs, video cameras or portable audio recorders for capturing interviews, film dialog, field recording, broadcast TV, news gathering, vlogging, YouTube videos and more. Both components feature sturdy metal construction and deliver excellent sound quality in a low-cost package. This kit is ultra-compact, lightweight, and easy to bring with you on every shoot.

The UwMic9 is remarkably easy to use. It works right out of the box. You just plug in the mic, turn on the power and go. It utilizes the UHF (Ultra High Frequency) spectrum, which helps you avoid interference, and its 514-596 MHz range is not impacted by the FCC’s ban of the 600 MHz frequencies. An automatic-scan feature locates the best available channel for you if needed and the infrared synchronization makes the process a snap. Easy-to-read backlit LCD displays let you make quick adjustments to the intuitive menus in the brightest or darkest environments. The RX9 receiver also includes a headphone output, enabling real-time audio monitoring if your camera lacks a headphone output.

The compact, dual-channel RX9 receiver features two separate wireless receivers. This gives you the ability to run two separate wireless microphones anytime, by just adding an additional optional transmitter. Locking 1/8” (3.5mm) mini-plug and XLR output cables are both included so you can use the UwMic9 with DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, cinema cameras, camcorders, professional video cameras, audio recorders and more. This flexible system can also be used to transmit line-level audio, such as an output from a mixer. This can be useful at weddings and other events where you need to wirelessly record crystal-clear audio from a soundboard.

Another great benefit is that your UwMic9 system is expandable. Optional transmitters and output cables (sold separately) are available, giving you unrivaled flexibility. Easily add an additional beltpack transmitter and lavalier microphone, or two wireless handheld microphones, or use wireless plug-on transmitters. You can also connect the included RX9 receiver to smartphones, tablets, computers, GoPro cameras and more with optional output cables.   • The bodypack transmitter uses a locking 3.5mm connection to secure the SR-M1 lavalier mic. A short press of the power button mutes the mic between takes.
  • The UWMIC9’s Auto Scan feature searches among 96 frequencies to find the cleanest available frequency for you, while the built-in infrared sync makes linking the transmitter and receiver a snap.
  • Easy-to-understand menus and controls, along with backlit LCD displays, allow you to make quick adjustments under varying lighting conditions.
  • The TX9 transmitter can accept mic or line inputs and offers three selectable levels of wireless transmission power. The highest setting is designed to overcome interference in busy RF environments or when the subject is further from the receiver; lower settings conserve battery power.
  • A headphone output on the receiver enables real-time audio monitoring, especially useful if your camera lacks a headphone output.
  • Power is supplied via AA batteries for up to 6 hours of battery life.
