The Super Stopper is a neutral density filter that reduces the light entering your lens by 15 stops.It gives the photographer an opportunity to shoot during the middle of the day, even in  bright sunlight. Traditionally, such conditions were considered unfavourable for photography, because of the harsh nature of the light. However, with the Super Stopper filter fitted, the softness that arises from any movement contrasts pleasingly with areas of bright light, creating an effect rarely seen in photography before now.This Lee Filters 100mm-series Super Stopper neutral density filter is constructed from optical glass for clarity as well as color fidelity and features a built-in gasket. This gasket works with a compatible LEE Filters 100mm System filter holder to help form a seal that is intended to prevent stray light, which could have unwanted effects on exposure, from coming in between the filter and the lens behind it.
