It stores 64% more energy than before, and combined with the camera’s more efficient operation, it allows for considerably longer shooting sessions with a single charge. According to the CIPA standard a single battery charge is now sufficient for around 1700 exposures when the rangefinder is used or approx. 700 exposures while the live view is used.
