A true masterpiece of optical design. The Summilux 28 f/1.7 ASPH. lens with optical image stabilization captures all the light you need to bring your creative vision to life. The fast wide-angle lens also features an integrated macro mode, allowing you to reveal the finest details in stunning close-ups from a minimum distance of just 17cm.

Whether you want to capture the atmosphere of the street, explore architectural details, or capture stunning landscapes, this lens offers outstanding performance for various photographic situations. With the digital frame selection from 28 to 90 mm, you gain additional flexibility to capture your subjects from different perspectives.

Full-Frame Sensor with Triple Resolution Technology

Capture the world with unparalleled brilliance and detail with the 60 MP resolution of the Leica Q3’s full-frame sensor. For those who prefer smaller file sizes, the Q3 also offers options to select either 36MP or 18MP resolution settings for DNG and JPG files. Regardless of the chosen resolution, the Q3 always uses the full size of the sensor with an impressive ISO range from ISO 50 up to ISO 100.000. The latest generation of the Maestro Series processor with L² Technology ensures excellent operating speed.

Advanced autofocus system

The Leica Q3 features a state-of-the-art hybrid autofocus system to ensure that no decisive moment will be missed. With its combination of a highly accurate contrast autofocus and depth from defocus system with a fast phase detection Autofocus, it provides high speed and precision when focusing and tracking objects. An intelligent subject recognition further supports the perfect shot.

Tiltable display and 5.76MP OLED viewfinder

With its tiltable display the Q3 adds new possibilities to your street photography. A high quality and durable tilting mechanism enriches the possibilities for shooting in unusual angles and provides you with more creative freedom. For those who prefer the classic way of composition, the excellent OLED viewfinder with 5.76 Megapixel and an elaborate optical construction shows a pristine and crystal-clear image of the subject.

Super-fast and convenient connectivity

Take your mobile workflows to the next level with transfer speeds up to 10 times faster than its predecessor. The MIMO feature of the Q3 significantly increases both the stability of the connection and the data transfer rate with the Leica FOTOS App. Additional Leica FOTOS features such as transferring videos from your camera to the app, importing special Leica Looks, and various connection modes from Eco to Performance enhance your mobile workflow with the Leica Q3. Tethered shooting with Capture One or the Adobe Lightroom plug-in is also supported via the USB-C cable connection.

Up to 8k-Video and multiple video formats
